At CH-EQUIP, the quality of our products and the protection of the environment go hand in hand. As a consumer of raw materials, we are committed to the use of pre and post-consumer recycled materials. The use of environmentally friendly raw materials throughout all production phases ensures that we maintain the High Quality Standards we have set for our products, while minimizing the negative effects on the environment.
STEELAll of the steel used for our products are milled in Southern California, and contain a minimum of 30% recycled content.
WOOD100% of the wood used in our products come from non-boreal forests, is FSC certified, and exceeds CARB standards.
PACKAGING MATERIALSNone of our products are shipped in cartons, eliminating the need for corrugated containers. Ninety-five percent of our products are shipped blanket-wrapped, using tie-downs and load locks.
POWDER-COATINGWe use powder coating exclusively for our products. While liquid finishes used by other local manufacturers contain solvents that emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere, Powder Coating is an environmentally friendly finish … NO VOCs.
CONSUMER SAFETYAll products manufactured by CH-EQUIP comply with the lead level requirements set by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
